Mother Earth Sister Moon (“we,” “me”) is a small independent brand of books, reflections and resources. This page explains what information the website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- When you join the email list: your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
- When you create an account: your name, email address and a password (stored only as a scrambled hash).
- When you write to us: your name, email address and the message you send.
- When you use our chat helper (Luna): the messages you type.
- When you buy something: the purchase is handled by our payment and delivery partners (for example Gumroad or Stripe). We receive your name, email and what you bought; we never see your full card number.
- Automatically: basic visit information such as the pages you view, the site you came from, and your browser type. This helps us understand what is helpful.
How we use it
- To send the free guide and occasional letters you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email.
- To deliver what you buy and answer your questions.
- To keep the site working and secure, and to see which pages people find useful.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run the site: website hosting, email delivery and list management, payment and download delivery, the AI service behind the Luna chat helper, and website analytics (Google Analytics, once switched on). Each handles your information only to provide its service.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses the cookies needed for sign-in. When Google Analytics is switched on it uses cookies to count visits. We do not use advertising trackers.
Children
Some of our books are written for children, but the website and email list are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Keeping it safe, and how long we keep it
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. We keep your information while you are subscribed or have an account, and for a reasonable time afterward for records.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or unsubscribe from emails, by writing to info@motherearthsistermoon.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
